Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Ahmedabad
- Arrival in Ahmedabad: Start your journey by arriving in Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat.
- Attractions:
- Sabarmati Ashram: Explore the home of Mahatma Gandhi and learn about India’s independence movement.
- Akshardham Temple (Gandhinagar):Exhibitions on Indian culture, a water show, and intricately carved stone facades
Manek Chowk: Try local street food in the evening.
Day 2: Ahmedabad to Bhavnagar (3-4 hours drive)
Attractions:
- Palitana Temples: En route, visit the Palitana Jain Temples, considered one of the most sacred pilgrimages for Jains. You’ll need to climb 3,500 steps to reach the top.
- Takhteshwar Temple: A hilltop temple offering panoramic views of Bhavnagar.
Day 3: Bhavnagar to Gir National Park (4-5 hours drive)
- Gir National Park: This is the only place in the world where you can see Asiatic lions in the wild. Enjoy a wildlife safari to spot lions, leopards, and various other animals.
- Overnight: Gir National Park area
Day 4: Gir to Somnath (2-hour drive)
Attractions:
- Somnath Temple: One of the 12 Jyotirlingas, it’s a revered Hindu temple situated on the Arabian Sea.
- Bhalka Tirth: Visit the place where Lord Krishna is believed to have left his mortal body.
- Somnath Beach: Relax by the beach in the evening.
Day 5: Somnath to Dwarka (5-hour drive)

- Dwarkadhish Temple: A sacred temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, considered one of the Char Dhams.
- Rukmini Devi Temple: A beautiful shrine dedicated to Krishna’s wife, Rukmini.

Overnight: Dwarka
Day 6: Dwarka to Rajkot (4-5 hours drive)

- Kirti Mandir, Porbandar: En route to Rajkot, visit the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi in Porbandar.
- Watson Museum, Rajkot: Learn about Rajkot’s colonial history and culture.

- Overnight: Rajkot
Day 7: Rajkot to Ahmedabad (3-4 hours drive)
